Vendor: Solid cotton hand wraps NOT made of elastic cotton Thumb loop Velcro closure on wrist
Product Description : A pair of cotton hand wraps for boxing and heavy bag work. These have a thumb loop on one end and a velcro closure tab for your wrist. Just like all the "regular" hand wraps since the beginning of time (or, at least, since they started using velcro and you don't need to use your teeth to tie the two little end straps anymore). At just under 2" wide, the smallest are the normal size for "thinner" arms, youth or small women. If you're not sure about the sizing, we say "go long" since you can always do an extra loop or two around your wrist. And no, they are NOT made of "elastic cotton". We don't like the elastic type since they don't stay tight during heavy workouts - the whole point is to NOT have any give in the wraps. Wondering about cotton vs. nylon? Cotton tends to be a little softer, but they seem to wear out a little faster. Admittedly, they might wear faster because you really should be washing them every time (hey - they're YOUR hands - we don't care what they smell like... but we wash OUR wraps after every workout...). Cotton also seems to "form" around your hand a little better, so it's slightly more comfortable. Around here we prefer the cotton but then we don't have to go far to get a replacement pair...
